Mario Cilenti, one of the most experienced and best respected figures in international sports events, has joined the speaker line-up for Sports Event Management 2008 in London on 12th November. Mario will draw on more than 15 years experience of events including the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games and four editions of the Pan American Games, to discuss the increasingly important contribution of sponsors in supplying the know-how, technology and services which help make events happen. Mario Cilenti was Chief Operating Officer for the 2007 Pan American Games in Brazil, an event which is widely considered to have set the scene for Rio's bid to stage the 2016 Olympic Games.
